Royal Copenhagen Porcelain, Glaze, Soda, and Electric Fired.

While undertaking the ‘project network’ residency at Guldagergaard Ceramic Center, in Denmark, ‘havn’ was created as a representation of the inspiring qualities found in the coastal landscapes.

Weathering buoys, saltwater erosion, drifting tarpauling, and an abundance of knotted netting directed the textural qualities found in the casting and firing of the objects.

Continuing the artist's process of fabric casting, ‘havn’ uses fluidity to embody both wind and tide.
