FORGE

Forge is a new development day for craft-makers, designer-makers and contemporary visual artists, presented by Creative Industries, Trafford, and held at Waterside Arts, Sale.

The panel discussion was hosted by Helen Wewiora, director of Castlefield Gallery and features Samantha Rhodes (Gallery Director, Bluecoat Display Centre, Liverpool), Lillie Tew (Curator) and Daisy Fulton (Artist). The panel explored the outlook for creatives within the industry and advised on how to develop your business, while utilising new opportunities.

The afternoon artist and maker presentations included Nancy Collantine, Katherine James, Nerissa Cargill Thompson, Jenny Harris, while portfolio and advice sessions where conducted by Lillie Tew.
